Performance at the exhibition Real Visions by Imre Benkő

Gallery of the event. Thanks to Gábor Dusa for the pictures.

The artists of the Central Europe Dance Theatre welcomed the visitors with a guided tour of the exhibition Real Visions by Imre Benkő.

Central Europe Dance Theatre has always placed great emphasis on free workshops and exploration, which can create new possibilities and perspectives not only for the professional community but also for the audience.

On 9 March, in connection with Imre Benkő's photo exhibition entitled Real Visions, the company attempted a performance inspired by the artist's works. The experiment focused on the way in which photographs can depict bodily, physical manifestations of movement in space. How does this impact on the art of dance? How does it trigger an open layer of association and give concrete or new meaning to the works?
