OPEN CALL by BUNKER<\/strong><\/p>

\ud83d\udc49\u00a0BEHIND THE CURTAIN<\/strong> is a series of programmes aimed at developing an international network and know-how of cultural managers and dance management experts. The programme consists of 3 main activities: 1. OFFLINE WORKSHOP<\/u> \u00a0April 2024, in Ljubljana, Slovenia, 2. 10 ONLINE MASTERCLASSES <\/u>\u00a0APRIL 2024 - SEPTEMBER 2024 and 3. A JOBSHADOWING<\/u> for 2 selected participants of the offline workshop.<\/p>

1. THE OFFLINE WORKSHOP<\/strong>\u00a0will be held at Bunker's headquarters in Ljubljana and will allow participants to learn about the theory and practice of culture management. The workshop will create a common knowledge base and personal contacts that will contribute to the development of a sustainable network between participants and experts.<\/p>


2.<\/strong>\u00a0ONLINE MASTERCLASSES<\/strong>\u00a0Between APRIL 2024 and SEPTEMBER 2024, 10 online masterclasses will be held. The online masterclasses will provide complex professional and practical skills in cultural management, dance production, communication, funding, touring, international relations and management strategies.<\/p>


3<\/strong>. OFFLINE WORKSHOP for JOB SHADOWING<\/strong>, two participants will be selected to take part in the Drugajanje International Festival, hosted by Bunker in several Slovenian cities and KDT (Krakow Dance Theatre) in Poland. The 2 participants will be given the opportunity to put into practice the theoretical framework and know-how acquired during the professional workshops, as well as the expertise in the organisation and management of the event.
The project is part of the Beyond Front@: Bridging Periphery, a Creative Europe project (2023-2026), created by Central Europe Dance Theatre - CEDT (Hungary), Bunker (Slovenia), Croatian Institute of Movement and Dance. HIPP (Croatia), Krakow Dance Theatre (Poland), M Studio (Romania) and Vitlycke - Center for Performing Arts (Sweden) to promote the local development of contemporary dance spaces.<\/p>

Who is BEHIND THE CURTAIN for?<\/p>

Emerging cultural managers, dance professionals, dancers, choreographers, producers and promoters, as well as individuals working in the performing arts.<\/p>

We welcome applicants from Poland, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Romania and Sweden.<\/p>

Speakers: Barbara Rovere (expert in EU grants and written grants), Mojca Jug (curator of the Mladi Levi International Festival and long-term programme director of the Old Power Station), Tamara Bra\u010di\u010d Vidmar (communications and international cooperation expert, co-founder of the Balkan Express network), Alma Red\u017ei\u0107 Selimovi\u0107 (expert in fundraising, European cooperation projects and cultural education), Inga Remeta (programme manager of Glej Theatre), Alja Lobnik (director of Maska) and others.<\/p>
