{"id":13059,"date":"2024-09-04T14:54:23","date_gmt":"2024-09-04T14:54:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cedt.hu\/?p=13059\/"},"modified":"2024-09-18T06:25:05","modified_gmt":"2024-09-18T06:25:05","slug":"tanc-evad-a-nemzetkoziseg-jegyeben","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cedthu.rwpstaging.site\/en\/tanc-evad-a-nemzetkoziseg-jegyeben\/","title":{"rendered":"Dance season in the spirit of internationalism!\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Central European Dance Theater has announced its 2024\/2025 season\u2014the company is preparing four new productions, and audiences can look forward to seeing them at venues including the National Dance Theater and the Bethlen Square Theater.&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The upcoming season of KET will have a truly international atmosphere, starting with a presentation by Artistic Director L\u00e1szl\u00f3 M\u00e1di, which will <strong>2024, the Year of Turkish-Hungarian Culture <\/strong>is established within the framework of the <strong>Golden Apple<\/strong> \u2013 Our performance titled *The Red Fruit of the Soul* <strong>October<\/strong> <strong>26<\/strong>We will be presenting it at the Bethlen Square Theater on [date].\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starting this season, No\u00e9mi Gizella Nagy, Berta Pucsek, and Marcell Hov\u00e1n are joining our company as new members; audiences have already had the opportunity to see them on several occasions in our productions *Ageless Generation* and *K\u00f3cbaba*. These performances remain part of our repertoire!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our new international partnership is <strong>EU Dance Hack<\/strong>, in which our partners are TaikaBox (Finland) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.developingart.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Developing Art<\/a> (Romania). The collaboration begins in Oulu, which served as the base for the first joint <strong>Dance Hack<\/strong>...'s. And its next stop, here in Hungary, is the <a href=\"https:\/\/cedt.hu\/edh\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Budapest Dance Hack 2024<\/strong><\/a> (<strong>BDPH24<\/strong>) will take place at the Bethlen Square Theater. Last but not least, the Summer Dance Academy in Krak\u00f3w took place recently, and thanks to the program, a Hungarian dancer was also able to participate.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our annual fall festival, the Sissi Fall Dance Week, is being expanded this year to include several additional events. The festival is <strong>BPDH24 <\/strong>opens it, and then the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bethlenszinhaz.hu\/sot7\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>13th Sissi Autumn Dance Week<\/strong><\/a> its programs, which promise special experiences again this year from November 16 to 23. At the same time, <strong>IKF Program<\/strong>our (<strong>Forum for Young Choreographers) <\/strong>marks the beginning of his creation, which<strong> <\/strong>This year, it will once again be organized in collaboration with the Hungarian University of Dance. The call for applications will be issued in the fall. Our aforementioned international project will also take place here, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/beyondfronta.eu\/posts\/pfbid0fk5k49diNnAnJbz4zkFh4Xq2JQKz5knKDcV75wZVmCuRbapf1aDwAQWSHXeMoT5ul\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Dance Communication Lab<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong>with a presentation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So be sure to mark November on your calendar, because we have a ton of professional events coming up!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our long-standing tradition continues, the <strong>K-Arcok<\/strong> our lecture series titled [...], and we will soon reveal the next artist featured in the series. The presentation <strong>December 20<\/strong>The audience can see it on [date], also on the stage of the Bethlen Square Theater.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And finally, the most spectacular premiere of the season is the <strong>National Dance Theatre<\/strong>will take place in the second half of the season, <strong>April 24<\/strong>- I. This co-production is being created in collaboration with Polish choreographer Maciej Ku\u017ami\u0144ski as part of the Creative Europe project Beyond Front@: Bridging Periphery. He is the founder and director of the first Polish Dance Network (2018\u20132022). His solo works form the repertoire of the Maciej Ku\u017ami\u0144ski Company. Since 2014, Ku\u017ami\u0144ski\u2019s works have been performed more than 300 times in 22 countries. The artist has won more than twenty international awards and honors for his productions created for the Maciej Ku\u017ami\u0144ski Company.
