This November, for the 13th time, we will be hosting our week-long fall dance festival, SŐT7, at the Bethlen Square Theater in collaboration with the Central European Dance Theater.

The program of the week-long dance festival, organized around the name day of Queen Elizabeth—popularly known as Sissi, after whom the district is named—featured high-caliber performances from the Hungarian contemporary dance scene in its early years, and for many years afterward, it highlighted the Budapest debuts of regional dance companies. The 2024 concept—without forgetting the past—focuses on two key themes: first, one of Bethlen’s fundamental missions, the promotion of talent; and second, international relations, which are becoming increasingly important.
