The Oulu Dance Hack 2021 Sharing is the first stage of a Finnish-Hungarian collaboration, located somewhere between Oulu and Budapest, but in one place, the online space. The venue is the TaikaBox studio in Finland, connected from the Hungarian side to the stage of the Bethlen Téri Theatre in Budapest.
KET's dancers Krisztián Barna, Dávid Dabóczi and Réka Gyevnár worked with Australian artists Jared Van Earle, Kira Riikonen and Samuli Emery from Finland. The performance will be broadcast live on KET On his Facebook page, which presents a project born out of choreography and technology, in the online-offline space, which was born in just four(!) days and enriched the life of the company with experiences that would not have been possible in the physical space, with the possibility of proximity, or only to a different degree.
We are grateful that again and again, even in this still difficult situation, we can still learn from extraordinary people like those we have just had the privilege to meet and get so close to.
